From the 8th to the 9th October 2019, IVEA partners from Portugal, Hungary, Greece and Belgium, gathered in Spain, at the third transnational meeting of the project, kindly hosted by Autismo Burgos.
During this two-days meeting, 12 partners gathered at the facilities of Autismo Burgos to exchange updates about the project and assess the first sessions of the IVEA pilot training for young jobseekers on the autism spectrum and companies aiming at including people with autism on the labour market.
Partners also discussed the next steps of the project, including the completion of the trainings and its respective internships, the development of the European Guide of best practices and the IVEA app, as well as preparations for the IVEA national and international events and the impact and sustainability of the project.
At this meeting, other different topics related to the project management were also covered, such as impact, dissemination, finances or internal communication.
In parallel to the meeting, IVEA partners also enjoyed a study visit to a housing facility and the day center of Autismo Burgos to learn about the daily life of young adults in Burgos and its integration into the labour market.
IVEA partners will meet again on May 2019 in Lisbon, Portugal. The project foresees five transnational meetings over its more than three-years lifespan.
