Identification of good practices across Europe

At this initial stage, partners undertake a literature review to identify best practices in relation to employment. IVEA aims at hearing people with autism what they think that lacks in their training. There are soft skills that should be introduced to complement the academic curricula, including social and daily life skills and independence.

Development and test of learning materials

In the framework of the project, specific courses will be developed and tested with people on the autism spectrum and employers. A European holistic Guide will be the result of two different trialed training courses: one for people on the autism spectrum and other one for representatives of potential employers (stakeholders, staff from NGO’s, administrative departments, shops). Participants of these trainings will interwave in a final internship for people with autism in the entities above referred.

Launch of a European Guide and online tools

As a final result of the project, a European guide and online tools will be available. They will feature transversal competences that should be introduced to complement the academic curricula, including social and daily life skills to foster independence.
